1. Core Architecture: 100% Client-Side Computing

Unlike conventional SaaS billing apps, UPIBillMaker does not operate any backend database storing your generated invoices.

All invoice data fields—including your company name, GSTIN, customer name, phone number, address, line items, prices, tax calculations, and dynamic UPI QR code graphics—are computed, formatted, and rendered entirely in your own web browser's RAM memory using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas.

When you click "Save PNG" or "Print / PDF", the file is generated locally on your processor. No invoice content is ever uploaded, transmitted, or logged to our servers.

2. Browser LocalStorage

To save you time on repeat visits, UPIBillMaker utilizes your browser's built-in window.localStorage to store:

• Your business name and address
• Your default UPI Virtual Payment Address (VPA)
• Your uploaded business logo (stored as a local Base64 string)
• Your last selected bill format preference

This data never leaves your device. You can clear this information at any time by clicking the "Clear" button in the form or clearing your browser cookies and site data.

3. Third-Party Advertising & Cookie Policy (Google AdSense)

To maintain UPIBillMaker as a free public utility with zero paywalls, we display digital advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, principally Google AdSense.

• Google and third-party ad vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites across the Internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Alternatively, users can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

4. Web Analytics & Server Logs

Like all standard web servers, our web hosting provider may automatically log standard non-personally identifiable request metadata such as browser user-agent, IP address, referring URL, and page request timestamps. This data is strictly used for DDOS mitigation, server uptime diagnostics, and security monitoring.

5. Compliance with Indian IT Act 2000 & Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act

Because we do not collect, process, or store personal sensitive data on centralized servers, our application guarantees privacy by design, fully aligned with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023.
